Transportation Guide for 6-Foot Containers Export

1. Definition and Dimensions

Internal Size: 6ft (Length) × 2.4m (Width) × 2.5m (Height)

External Size: 6.1m (Length) × 2.44m (Width) × 2.59m (Height)

Payload Capacity: Approximately 5-8 tons

2. Transportation Methods

Full Container Load (FCL):

20ft Container: Load 3 x 6ft containers (3 in length, 1 in width/height).

40ft Container: Load 6 x 6ft containers (6 in length, 1 in width/height).

40ft High Cube (40HQ): Load 6 x 6ft containers with additional lightweight cargo stacked.

Less than Container Load (LCL):

20ft Container: Load 3-4 x 6ft containers with small items filling gaps.

40ft Container: Load 6-8 x 6ft containers for higher space efficiency.

3. Loading Precautions
